3. Latest APP & BPM Station developments
We believe very strongly that Mobile Apps represent a new frontier of marketing the stores and connecting our record store brands to their customer base in exciting new ways. By delivering a listening station to every customer's pocket we can then reach them with friendly messages to increase engagement. Our website customers with mobile apps enjoy mobile e-commerce supported by AEC fulfillment.
So we have been hard at work making new features or our BPM Mobile Store App and our BPM Stations. This includes a new wishlist function for the App where customers can add the records they are previewing and want to a WISHLIST. We NOW HAVE mobile commerce enabled for our apps. If you haven't yet, please download our newest customer's app, Down In The Valley. (http://music.downinthevalley.com/app)
4. BROADTIME ON THE ROAD AND TOUR SUPPORT As we look to creative ways, to drive more attention to artists and releases at retail, we contemplated the markets where we have website and kiosk customers and the map gives us some really good (and growing) coverage of the country. We are super excited to now have over 80 stations in service at stores around the country.
See Map below and interactively on our Tour Support page.
So, in addition to our tagging and display of videos, banners, and digital signage, we can create concert calendar events in the markets, and create additional signage and banners, and event tagging.
An individual Event for each show will be created and placed on the calendar of each Record Store within the touring market invoking an EVENT tag to be placed on each release of the artist. The tour dates will also be highlighted on The Home Page and Artist Page of each applicable site and Kiosk. (as well as New Release, and featured item pages)
Broadtime will create and provide an individual animated Kiosk screen saver sign and banners for each Record Store located within the touring market calling out the specific local date and venue. These will rotate when station is idle -
MAIN BULLET POINTS:
* It's like getting two ads in one, as there is extra promotion that also cover the concerts
* It's up to 4 Months of ad coverage for the tour
More Info: BROADTIME TOUR SUPPORT
Example Tear Sheet with Dates
We will add in Tour support on our proposals by default for a modest increase, to cover the cost of the dozen or so banners, signage, and event creation we will undertake. It's optional of course, for some titles it may make more sense to run as we do today.
However, the impact and improved exposure in the touring markets will pull in more and more fans to stores and shows.
5. NEW RELEASE ROUND UP - Courtesy of OMEGA MUSIC DAYTON, Dayton, OH. Please congratulate them on an amazing new branding design.
Taylor Swift - reputation - Big Machine Records
Taylor Swift releases her highly anticipated 6th studio album, reputation. The album features the singles "Look What You Made Me Do", "...Ready For It?" and "Gorgeous".
Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats - Live At Red Rocks - Stax
On August 21st, 2016, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats marked the one-year anniversary of their debut album with a triumphant, sold-out homecoming show at Colorado's legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the Denver-based band's first headlining performance at the revered venue. Honed by the extensive touring that took them around the world and back during the preceding 12 months, the mighty rock and soul band tore through a tight set packed with favorites such as 'I Need Never Get Old,' 'Look It Here,' 'Shake,' 'Howling at Nothing' and 'Wasting Time.' The night culminated with their special guests, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, joining the guys for a swampy, powerful 'S.O.B.' before finishing with Sam Cooke's classic 'Having a Party,' as the second line paraded with band in tow right out of the theater.
Walk The Moon - What If Nothing - RCA
Walk The Moon release their third album What If Nothing. The album features the singles "One Foot", "Headphones" and "Surrender"
Seal - Standards - Republic
Over the course of his astounding career, acclaimed singer-songwriter, Seal, has sold over 50 million albums globally. Now this iconic voice is tackling timeless songs with a collection of stunning versions of standards. Standards includes hit tracks “Luck Be A Lady” and “It Was A Very Good Year.”
Angel Olsen - Phases - Jagjaguwar
How do you best describe Angel Olsen? From the lo-fi, sparse folk-melancholy of her 2010 EP, Strange Cacti, to the electrified, polished rock 'n' roll bursting from 2016's beloved and acclaimed MY WOMAN, Olsen has refused to succumb to a single genre, expectation, or vision. Impossible to pin down, Olsen navigates the world with her remarkable, symphonic voice and a propensity for narrative, her music growing into whatever shape best fits to tell the story. Phases is a collection of Olsen's work culled from the past several years, including a number of never-before-released tracks. "Fly On Your Wall," previously contributed to the Bandcamp-only, anti-Trump fundraiser Our First 100 Days, opens Phases, before seamlessly slipping into "Special," a brand new song from the MY WOMAN recording sessions. Both "How Many Disasters" and "Sans" are first-time listens: home-recorded demos that have never been released, leaning heavily on Olsen's arresting croon and lonesome guitar. The B-sides compilation is both a testament to Olsen's enormous musical range and a tidy compilation of tracks that have previously been elusive in one way or another. Balancing tenacity and tenderness, Phases acts as a deep-dive for longtime fans, as well as a fitting introduction to Olsen's sprawling sonics for the uninitiated.
Mickey Hart - RAMU - Verve
Legendary Grateful Dead drummer, solo artist and world music aficionado Mickey Hart releases his 14th solo album - RAMU - on Verve Forecast. RAMU was co-produced by Michal Menert, formerly of Pretty Lights, and features Avey Tare from Animal Collective, Tank from Tank and the Bangas as guest vocalists. In addition to their contributions, RAMU features the incredible Zakir Hussain on tabla, bassist Oteil Burbridge, talking drum master Sikiru Adepoju, guitarist Steve Kimock, multi-instrumentalist Charles Lloyd, and Jason Hann of String Cheese Incident. Recordings of the late Jerry Garcia, the late Babatunde Olatunji, and unreleased field recordings by Alan Lomax also appear on the album.
Metallica - Master Of Puppets: Remastered [Expanded Edition 3CD] - Blackened Recordings

The Expanded Edition includes previously unreleased demos, rough mixes, interviews, live tracks, and a 28-page booklet.
R.E.M. - Automatic For The People: 25th Anniversary Edition - Craft Recordings
Widely considered to be one of the best albums of the 90s, 1992's Automatic For The People features R.E.M.'s iconic hit singles 'Nightswimming,' 'Man on the Moon' and 'Everybody Hurts.' Commemorating the album's 25th Anniversary, this remastered 2CD edition features the full album remastered from the original analog tapes.
