We have a new enhancement to our retail services that we want to share, as well as some new store locations...

NEW BROADTIME ON THE ROAD AND TOUR SUPPORT

As we look to creative ways, to drive more attention to artists and releases at retail, we contemplated the markets where we have website and kiosk customers and the map gives us some really good (and growing) coverage of the country. We are super excited to now have over 80 stations in service at stores around the country.

See Map below and interactively on our Tour Support page. 

So, in addition to our tagging and display of videos, banners, and digital signage, we can create concert calendar events in the markets, and create additional signage and banners, and event tagging.

An individual Event for each show will be created and placed on the calendar of each Record Store within the touring market invoking an EVENT tag to be placed on each release of the artist. The tour dates will also be highlighted on The Home Page and Artist Page of each applicable site and Kiosk. (as well as New Release, and featured item pages)

Broadtime will create and provide an individual animated Kiosk screen saver sign and banners for each Record Store located within the touring market calling out the specific local date and venue. These will rotate when station is idle -

We will add in Tour support on our proposals by default for a modest increase, to cover the cost of the dozen or so banners, signage, and event creation we will undertake. It's optional of course, for some titles it may make more sense to run as we do today.

However, the impact and improved exposure in the touring markets will pull in more and more fans to stores and shows.

Our new interface is very friendly to the types of label assets we regularly promote. It's really exciting to bring things that are really important front and center on the listening and discovery experience. We are able to promote the store brand in a much more creative way and call out titles that have assets in more places.

The Home screen now has a WATCH VIDEOS button and Videos now play full screen before the album preview.

IGGY POP - Post Pop Depression - Loma Vista

Post Pop Depression, the 17th Iggy Pop album, and a worthy addition to the 22 album legacy spawned with the immortal trilogy of The Stooges, Fun House and Raw Power, spanning massively influential solo outings including 1977's opening 1-2 combo of The Idiot and Lust For Life, and 1990's gold-certified Brick By Brick. The first Iggy Pop album co-created with producer Homme, Post Pop Depression began with a succinctly worded text from Iggy to Joshua, and was realized in seclusion with Homme's enlisted aid of his Queens Of The Stone Age bandmate and Dead Weather-man Dean Fertitia and Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders. Post Pop Depression is a singular work that stands proudly alongside the best works of either of its principles, from The Stooges to Queens Of The Stone Age, bearing its creators' undeniable sonic DNA while sounding like nothing they've done before. Scottish rockers, Primal Scream return with their 11th studio album Chaosmosis which features the single "Where The Light Gets In".

GAZ COOMBES - Matador - Hot Fruit Recordings
Following years of warmly welcomed Stateside jaunts fronting Supergrass and the Hot Rats, Gaz Coombes will commemorate his first ever North American solo tour with a special limited colored vinyl deluxe edition and physicalCD release of his second solo album, Matador, on Hot Fruit Recordings/Kobalt Label Services. Previously physically released only in select overseas territories, Matador was nominated for the 2015 Mercury Prize, a distinction bestowed upon the best album from the United Kingdom and Ireland. Matador was a critical smash in Coombes' native UK, drawing glowing praise and rave reviews from the likes of MOJO, NME, Q MAGAZINE and THE GUARDIAN among a host of others.

GWEN STEFANI - This Is What The Truth Feels Like - Interscope Records
A singer and songwriter since childhood, Gwen Stefani has sold close to 30 million records as the front woman for the band No Doubt and as a multi-platinum solo artist. Gwen took her time to carefully craft her new album This Is What The Truth Feels Like, her most personal work to date. With intimate songs such as Make Me Like You , Misery Truth and Used To Love You combined with the stellar productions from producers Mattman & Robin, Greg Kurstin, JR Rotem and Stargate, there is an emotional through line to the album that highlights Gwen's songwriting and impassioned themes of love and loss that are universally felt worldwide.  

DAMIEN JURADO - Visions Of Us On The Land - Secretly Canadian
Providing the ideal entry point for neophytes and an intoxicating aural high for the faithful, Damien Jurado's new opus extends the hot streak ignited by 2012's Maraqopa and its 2014 follow-up Brothers and Sisters of the Eternal Son. Cut once again with label mate and super producer Richard Swift at the latter's National Freedom recording facility in rural Oregon,Visions Of Us On The Land completes the tale of an individual who has had to disappear from society in order to discover some universal truths.

More than 10 years ago, Radical Face started crafting the story of a fictitious, sometimes otherworldly 19th century family called The Northcotes. He brought these characters to life in a three-part album series he created and recorded alone in Jacksonville, FL. Certain instrumentations and melodies were used to represent various “family members” and each album was recorded using only the instrumentation available during the era represented. A natural storyteller, Cooper turns fiction into music.
